Broken windows can be repaired, a house with missing windows.. is not a 'livable' home to move into.
No appliances? Depend which, a stove? Central heating? a home without a minimal kitchen is not considered livable.
The FHA is not requesting a HDTV..

The house has to be suitable for proper and safe home use. If it is not.. It will not be approved.

ALSO, what about if there are no appliances or some broken windows?
As homebuyers we would plan to replace those things right away, but would the FHA not give us the chance?

What if the roof does not meet requirement for a single family home? Must the new homebuyers repair on the spot? I would hope there is at least that chance.
What ways do they determine a new roof is needed?
The house in question has an old roof but maybe just one or two missing shingles and no leaks. Upon home inspection they said it is due for a new roof, but that it could last a bit longer before leaks. Not sure if that is enough.

I must be missing something, I thought you were supposed to explain 2011 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit again ......2011. All I am reading about is 2010, and how it works in 2010 before a certain date last year. Is that your way of saying there is no tax credit for 2011? Help me out someone......I am about to close on a house next month, and don't want to miss anything I could have gotten. I am getting a VA loan (I am a Veteran) for $125,000 in Kentucky. Is there anything I am entitled that I am not aware of? Because what I'm getting is that the $8,000 is no longer available.
